How the Exchange actually works.
Is this Fitment Industries selling used parts?
No — Exchange listings are sold by other enthusiasts, not by FI. We're the neutral third party in the middle: we verify the specs, hold the payment, provide the shipping labels, and referee if something shows up that doesn't match the listing. Think of us as the escrow, not the seller.
What do the condition grades mean?
New Takeoff — removed from a new vehicle or never mounted, zero road miles. Excellent — mounted and driven, no visible flaws at arm's length. Good — honest wear, small marks documented in photos. Fair — cosmetic damage like curb rash, structurally straight, priced accordingly. Bent, cracked, or repaired wheels can't be listed at all.
How do returns work on used parts?
Every order includes a 48-hour inspection window from delivery. If what arrived doesn't match the listing photos and description, open a claim from your order page — we hold the seller's payout until it's resolved, and misrepresented items go back on the seller's dime. "I changed my mind" isn't covered, so run your numbers with our fitment calculators before you buy.
Why not just use Facebook Marketplace?
Because a screenshot of a spec sticker isn't verification, and "PayPal friends & family" isn't buyer protection.
